Historical Data

METDATA/gridMET

Our lab is producing a gridded meteorological daily dataset for 1979-present (up to 2-days lag) on 4-km grids over the Contiguous USA (CONUS).This data is derived from daily NLDAS2/NARR data which we have bias corrected with monthly PRISM data. Provided variables include temperature,precipitation, radiation, humidity and wind.

Seasonal Forecast Data

downscaledNMME

Our lab is producing downscaled seasonal forecasts for 1 to 7 -month lead times from the NOAA's North American Multi-Model Ensemble (NMME) project. We produce both a daily and a monthly downscaled product on 4-km grids over the Western USA. Provided variables include at least temperature and precipitation, but the daily product includes radiation, humidity and wind as well. We provide outputs from 7 of the NMME models.

Future Climate Data

MACA

Our lab is producing statistically downscaled future climate projections using the Multivariate Adaptive Constructed Analogs (MACA) method applied to 20 global climate model outputs (and 2 future scenarios RCP4.5/8.5) from phase 5 of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project (CMIP5) on 4-km/6-km grids over the Contiguous USA (CONUS). Provided variables include temperature,precipitation, radiation, humidity and wind.
